Programmer - Command Modern Operations

This is an incredible opportunity to join one of the most exciting development projects in the commercial and professional space. We are seeking skilled software developers to help with the development of Command Modern Operations, both on the commercial and professional side. Your duties will primarily revolve around writing new code, as well as modifying existing code to fix errors, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces. You will also be involved in directing system testing and validation procedures, and also working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Writing new code and modifying existing code to address errors, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or enhance interfaces.
  • Participating in directing system testing and validation procedures.
  • Collaborating with customers or departments on technical issues, including software system design and maintenance.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft .NET Framework development, with strong skills in C# and/or VB.NET.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of DirectX 11.
  • Lua programming skills.
  • General familiarity with Microsoft and cross-platform technologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of tabletop or computer wargames.
  • Passion for military history from WW2 to the near future.

Important Information:

  • Full-time permanent position.
  • Remote work or office-based options in Epsom UK, Milan Italy, Warsaw Poland or Athens Greece. 
  • Some travel may be required (approximately 2-3 trips per year).
  • Competitive salary based on location and experience:
    • Junior: $40k-$60k
    • Experienced: $60k-$90k
    • Senior: $100k+
