Saturday July 20 will mark the 50th anniversary of a great event: on the same day in 1969 astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first men to walk on the Moon.
It was, in Neil Armstrong's own words, "a small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind". It was the most exciting event in the race to space, one that left the world without breath.
